A bit about Elena

Since joining Space Station, I’ve worked my way up to becoming an area manager, looking after four stores – and I’ve loved every second. Helping staff and customers is my favourite part, but the benefits behind the scenes are really what make Space Station so special.

The training, reassurance and constructive feedback is second to none, and my co-workers make even the most stressful days enjoyable. Everyone looks after each other and are always happy to help. Everyone’s opinions are valued, and if something can be changed based on feedback, it absolutely will be.

Space Station’s support has without a doubt made me into a better manager. I think the biggest thing I have learnt in the last few years is impact management. When I go to each of my four stores, I now ensure that my attitude, mood and behaviour will help the team there improve in their roles. Knowing that I can count on my managers means that my team knows that they can always count on me. It’s the culture and respect at Space Station that makes this possible.
